The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) announced today that the Asia Pacific (APAC) Domain Name System (DNS) Forum 2025 will take place 8–9 May 2025, in Hanoi, Vietnam. The event brings together DNS experts and the broader APAC community, and serves as a platform for the regional community to network, learn, and collaborate.

Next year’s APAC DNS Forum will highlight the state of the domain name industry from a regional vantage point and provide a perspective on future challenges and opportunities. The forum will be held as a hybrid event to offer attendees the flexibility to attend in person or remotely.

The APAC DNS Forum 2025 will be co-located with the 2025 Contracted Parties Summit, which will convene 5–7 May 2025. The forum will include discussions on the New gTLD Program: Next Round and Universal Acceptance, topics of interest to participants of both events.

Additional details about next year’s APAC DNS Forum will be announced later this year and on the event website.

About ICANN

ICANN’s mission is to help ensure a stable, secure, and unified global Internet. To reach another person on the Internet, you need to type an address – a name or a number – into your computer or other device. That address must be unique so computers know where to find each other. ICANN helps coordinate and support these unique identifiers across the world. ICANN was formed in 1998 as a nonprofit public benefit corporation with a community of participants from all over the world.
